He has used his extensive experience in reviewing and drafting legislation, writing legal opinions, conducting policy analysis and devising program implementation strategies for both public and private entities, which have included the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Justice of the Government of Albania and the CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Albania. He also has provided significant contribution in advancing international development objectives, which includes a diverse body of work for the United States Agency for International Development, the International Office of Migration and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. As a member of the Prime Minister’s staff, Verrija provided policy review and legal advice, reviewed draft laws, wrote decisions and provided recommendations to the Prime Minister on a variety of policy issues.
