They hire only top trainers and strive to pair their clients with the right trainer and the right program. “We provide accountability, motivation and education,” said Trapp. “We make sure our clients are mentally prepared, motivated to work hard enough to achieve results, and are educated.” Besides one-on-one training, Push Fitness also offers partner personal training and small group training classes. They also offer E.B.A.C. (extreme boxing and conditioning) and a class they call Hi-Definition, where each class is based on a popular movie (think “Rocky” and “G.I. Offering weight loss counseling, personal training and support, owner Tina Dunn is committed to helping her clients lead a healthy lifestyle. “A successful member is one who uses the club,” she says. “Our members are part of the family here. I want them to feel comfortable.” Circuit training, treadmills and spin bikes are available. They also offer body wraps. Atmosphere: Cozy, confidence-building. comfortable, Atmosphere: Fun, lively – zen with Cost: Drop in classes range from $15 to $35. However, you can buy punch cards for five to 20 classes, which reduces the price. For instance, a 20-pack for mat, yoga or dance classes will cost about $11 per class. Private lessons cost $70 per hour, but you can also buy 30-minute sessions. Hours: Pilates Plus is open seven days a week, with a wide range of class times. It’s best to call ahead or check out their Web site if you plan to stop in and check out a class. Staff: There are 12 instructors as well as two massage therapists. Cost: There is no membership or initiation fee. Training starts as low as $45 and classes start at $14. New clients receive a free fitness assessment. Hours: Hours are by appointment only. Push Fitness will take clients as early as 5 a.m. and as late as 10 p.m. Staff: Besides a number of personal trainers, Push Fitness also has two nutritionists on staff to make sure clients learn healthy eating habits. Cost: There are a variety of memberships including nutrition only, fitness only and a variety of nutrition and fitness programs. Hours: The club is open from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday, hours are the same except the club opens at 7:30 a.m. It’s open 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Staff: There are three staff members.
