Matt LaRue is a 32-year-old account executive in security sales at Convergint Technologies in Schaumburg. “Right out of high school, I was sort of a lost soul,” he admits, “but I got serious when I met my wife and got married.” They moved from St. Louis to the Chicago area in 2000, and LaRue got into computers and security systems, which led him to Convergint a couple of years ago.
