Stained glass is becoming even more popular today,” states Briggs. Still, the pair remains committed to following their inspiration. “We’ve found we’ve been quite successful by doing things we enjoy. It draws people in of like mind and like taste. We don’t sit down and do something just because we think it’s going to sell.” The words of a true artist. From his studio on Fairmount Drive, Briggs explains the process that must be followed to create these unique works of art. “You start with a design, trace your pattern onto glass which has to be cut to fit. Then, depending on the method you use, whether the foil method or the lead method, you get a different look for your piece. Anyone can do it but the results are not going to be the same.
