Formed in 1894, Ontario’s second oldest provincial park offers four seasons of recreation in exceptional outdoor settings. Swimming choices include the protected shelter of Rondeau Bay or miles of shallow water and sandy beach along Lake Erie shores. Many campsites are wooded and within a short walk of the beach. Facilities include comfort stations, showers, picnic tables and a laundry room. Camping season runs from April 1 to the last Sunday in October. Canoeing and kayaking are ideal in the park’s marshes or shelter of Rondeau Bay and Lake Erie provides good conditions for boating and fishing.
