EDUCATION AND CHILD CARE Four regional school boards serve the Kingston area: The Limestone District School Board, 220 Portsmouth Ave., 613-5446920, administers public elementary and secondary schools. French immersion and adult education programs, as well as other special programs, are outlined on the board’s website, www.limestone. on.ca. A list of area schools can be found in the white pages of the telephone directory under Limestone District School Board. The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, 151 Dairy St., Napanee, 613-354-2255, operates five secondary schools and 36 elementary schools for students whose parents or guardians are Catholic school ratepayers.
