Beginning May 25th - July 1st: Lobster Supper: St. John’s Church Hall, 35981 Cabot Trail, Ingonish on June 28th beginning at 4pm. Tickets at the door are $12 per person. July 1st: Canada Day Celebrations. Let’s kick Canada Day off with a bang: Bay St. Lawrence Community Centre, family fun day and cake cutting from 11 am – 1 pm, Bay St. Lawrence. St Joseph’s CWL family fun day and cake cutting, starting at 3 pm in Dingwall. Fireworks and BBQ sponsored by the Northern Victoria Community Center, Bay St. Lawrence Community Center, and local businesses. June - October: North Highlands Community Organization, Cape North. The museum sees thousands of visitors each year who experience what life was like for the pioneers in this area. This year throughout the tourism season, they will offer displays in traditional ways of life as June 21st: Indian Brook Fire Hall Lobster Supper, Indian Brook. Take-out begins at 4 pm. Eat-in begins at 5 pm. June 21st: John Cabot Landing Day Celebrations: Experience the 1st landing place of John Cabot, 1497, in search for the New World, celebrated annually in June. See the fist view of the New World. The day includes a re-enacment of John Cabot’s Landing, picnic and local entertainment, Cabot Landing Provincial Park, Sugar Loaf. 22 June 21st: Dance follows the Cabot Day Celebrations at the Northern Victoria Community Center, Cape North, with music by a DJ. 9 pm – 1pm, cost $6. June 27th: St. Ann’s Bay United Church Tea Room Ceilidh. 7:30 pm, cost $7. June 27th: Seamus, Kyle and Stuart MacNeil of the Barra MacNeil’s in concert with other local musicians at the Indian Brook Fire Hall, St. Ann’s Bay area.
