Spread the Fire - January 2008 - (Page 4) Dear Spread The Fire Magazine I want you both to know how much it means to me to be able to turn on God TV and see you both and Mary Audrey and Duncan, and all the worship leaders. I am back on the carpet at TACF soaking in the spirit! Soaking has revolutionized my prayer life and my relationship with my God, and I thank you both with all my heart for your faithfulness and humility so that the Holy Spirit continues pouring out blessings on all connected with TACF. My prayer was that I could bring the Father’s Blessing here to Paphos and that is happening. The leaders of my church, Paphos Christian Fellowship Int’l, have said that I have been a catalyst to a lot changing rapidly in the church. My spiritual connection with TACF strengthens me. I hope you will hang the enclosed Cyprus flag with all the others as we are now connected through the Soaking Center. My Pastor, Harry Taylor, and his wife Joan were at TACF shortly after the revival started and have deep respect for you. God bless you and keep you in the Palm of His Hand! Christine Matys Paphos, Cyprus TESTIMONIES GOOD FRUIT As a graduate of your September 2006 Soaking School and Conference, I am delighted to inform you that you now have another Soaking Center in my home in Paphos, Cyprus, the city of Paul and Barnabus! When I read in Acts 13 that they were sent here by the Holy Spirit, I just put my name in there and read: “Set apart for Me Christine for the work to which I have called her.” I am an Oncology/Palliative Care nurse and was at TACF until I retired to Cyprus in 2006. Mary Audrey taught me the gifts of the Holy Spirit 25 years ago and even though we lost touch for many years, we were reunited in my last 6 months in Canada, and I consider her my mentor. She is a wonderfully strong woman of God and I love her dearly! There is a desperate need here for care for the dying, and I am now working at the only hospice in Paphos. God has given me a vision to bring together a core group of people to take hospice into the homes of the dying, as most people want to remain in their homes, and can do so if given enough support. As people hear of this vision, they are already volunteering! God is so good! Dear John and Carol, You may remember my husband and me because you prayed for my husband, Gary, who was in a wheelchair that first night on board at the 2007 Catch the Wave conference. The next day Carol prayed again after the parade in Barbados. Not only was Gary able to walk in the parade, he pushed our friend who was in a wheelchair. Praise the Lord. He is still pain free. Prior to going on the cruise, he couldn’t walk across a room without pain shooting down his right leg to his ankle. May God continue to pour out streams of living water through your ministry. See you at 2008 Catch the Wave. Gail Stevens Via Internet S TF - 4
