Spread the Fire - March 2008 - (Page 9) T he secular media has so ingrained into this genera- tion the message of sex without boundaries that in an average class of tenth grade high school students, up to 50% are involved in sexual activ- ity with multiple partners. These days, when we talk to youth about sexual purity, we are presenting a whole value system that seems to have disappeared with Beaver Cleaver. We are talking to a generation that has no concept of sexual immorality as sin. The old approach, telling them that sex is bad and that God’s law punishes sexual sin, simply tempts their sinful nature to taste the forbidden fruit. Unless the young person is a Christian, he doesn’t care what God thinks. S TF - 9
