Located at Km 12.3 on the Bonanza Road, Dredge #4 is designated a National Historic Site and is one of the Yukon’s most-visited attractions. www.pc.gc.ca Dawson city museum The Dawson City Museum is housed in the town’s stately Old Territorial Administration Building National Historic Site, a premier Klondike heritage attraction. Exhibits provide an in-depth look at Dawson City’s social and mining history, the Hän First Nation people, the colourful gold rush era, and the natural history of the Klondike. The museum presents temporary exhibits, gallery tours by costumed interpreters, audiovisual programs, and rocker box and gold pouring demonstrations. The museum library and archives is an excellent place to do genealogical research. Displays include archaeological artifacts, reproductions of tools, costumes and life-sized photos that give voice to the memories and stories of the elders.
