It is surrounded by dairy farms. In the center of the town is the Oley Fire Department and Fairgrounds. Oley is the perfect area to exercise your old bike and have the small town and small meet experience. This year’s weather was perfect. Shorts and t-shirts were the uniform of the day. Considering that it has snowed there before in April, this was a welcome change! This increased the foot traffic by local enthusiasts considerably. This meet for many is the first meet of the year. We must remember that the eastern seaboard was heavily populated at the turn of the last century. Dale Walksler bought a 1936 Indian Chief for his museum. hese days the term, “old school”, is kicked around a lot. With more and more motorcycle meets getting bigger and more diverse, the AMCA’s (Antique Motorcycle Club of America) Oley meet is very reminiscent of the old days when meets were small, local events. This AMCA event is just like all the meets once were in the past.
