Walneck's Classic Cycle Trader - July 2008 - (Page 8) MONTHLY FEATURES THE BUZZ BY BUZZ WALNECK WHEELS THROUGH TIME MUSEUM I had a chance to talk with Dale Walksler the other day, and wish to pass on a few interesting things. In the past, we have mentioned his series of video stories, called “The Time Machine”, now it is available “FREE“, by simply dialing up www.wheelsthroughtime.com. There are MORE than 250 episodes you can watch at any time you want. First time startups, restoration, info on rare models, interview with visitors to the museum, and fun stuff are yours to enjoy. More episodes are currently in the works too. Dale never sleeps, and never stops coming up with ideas, and more importantly. . . this is ALL FREE for you to enjoy over and over. You will be able to turn up the volume, and learn about the bike from Dale, about who has done work, or restoration, or owned them. Dale will tell things of historical importance with special benchmark bikes. Even better yet. . . he will start most of them and drive them away. . . 8 JULY 2008 Mystery Scooter This scooter showed up at a Michigan show. When asked if I could tell what it was. . . I couldn’t, so can anyone help? A free 1-year subscription or renewal to the first caller to me with the “correct” answer, please call 630 / 985-2097 (no guessing please). DON’T YOU JUST HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS. . . A week or so ago. . . Pix says to me. . .“my computer is locked up. . . it won’t do anything. .” Right away I panic. . . O.K. lets check out the wireless booster. . . I might as well call it the “Atomic Intermaxigigagoogle”. . . All connections are in place. I call the “Geek Squad” at Best Buy. . . “I have a Linksys 2.4 Speed Booster”, do they wear out or go bad? The very helpful guy on the other end of the line suggests that I “by-pass the frat-A-stat, and go direct to the “whatchamacallit. . .” Yea. . . Right. . . I was about to think of that myself . . .!
