Moore W hile growing up on a farm in the ‘60s and ‘70s, most kids would have some memories that probably stayed with them well into adulthood. It might have been a prize winning calf at the local fair or maybe a special home cooked meal. For me, it was a series of high school class incidents that have never left my memory. It wasn’t a special assignment or experiment, but a regular class disruption that I’ll never forget. It would initially start with the sweet sound of two stroke exhaust and magically “the legend” would appear on his weapon of choice, a 1974 Can Am TNT 175. I can remember how cool it looked, how fast it was and how I lusted for one. I would envision myself being like him as he made the local nine hole golf course across the road from the school his own personal race track. My own Japanese 100 couldn’t hold a candle to this beast. It was the machine to have at that time. My buddies and I wanted one just like it.
