This troupe of 80 ballettrained dancers is world-acclaimed as a result of the vision and genius of its founder and chorographer, portraying on a spectacular scale the folkways of many cultures. Leahy is a Celtic powerhouse and a triplethreat of fiddle, dance and song, and the eight-member, brother and sister group offers a collective world sound. February 10, 2pm. Founded in 1912 and known as a creative force behind the a cappella tradition, the St. Olaf Choir is the premier choral ensemble of Minnesota’s St. Olaf College, and is best known today for its performances in the annual internationally broadcast “St. Olaf Christmas Festival” on PBS. February 17, 6pm. Forever Tango. Direct from a successful Broadway revival, Luis Bravo’s acclaimed dance spectacular features an allArgentine cast of 14 dancers and 11 on-stage musicians. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. The roots of the Royal Scots date back to the oldest surviving Cavalry of the Line in the British Army. The Coldstream Regiment, with more than 200 years of continuous service, is one of the oldest military bands in the world. February 22, 8pm. Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Under the leadership of Jim Vincent, Hubbard’s captivating works demonstrate passion, energy and artistry emanating from dancer and choreographer Lou Conte’s Hubbard Street Dance studio in a revival of the pieces that truly opened its doors to the world.
