Membership in the national association of sports commissions, the sports event industry’s leading networking organization, helps. nasc now represents 300 cities and 425 organizations within the sports event community whose membership seeks to attract events to their local communities. “It’s another tool to help achieve our goals,” trinidad says. “nasc provides a communications network between sports commissions, convention and visitor bureaus and the athletic event industry, increasing access to sports event information.” nasc advertising notes its members are “more effective and competitive in the business of bidding on and hosting sports events.” which is exactly what the Phoenix-born trinidad wants to accomplish.
