First Look: Franklin Park Alamo
Heights
Designed with the flavor and flair of the surrounding community by Three:
Living Architecture (Dallas), Franklin Park Alamo Heights in San Antonio is
scheduled to open in December 2015. The community is 302,400 square feet
and will have 117 independent living units, 64 assisted living units, and 40
memory care units. The design relied on research conducted over the years on
the shift in preferences taking place as baby boomers hit retirement age.

Braemar at Wallkill in Middletown, N.Y., owned by FilBen Group (Rye Brook,
N.Y.), opened this past spring. The new $35.5 million, 130,000-square-foot
assisted living facility is situated on a landscaped, six-acre property and
accommodates 200 residents. The building, designed by H2M Architects and
Engineers (Long Island, N.Y.), also has a dedicated wing for memory care
services and space allocated for a social adult day care program.
