The setting for the 2018 EFA Expo & Conference-both the city and the

You work every day with a goal of creating the
perfect senior living environment that supports
and enhances residents' lives. We take a similar approach in planning the Environments for
Aging Expo & Conference, which next year will
take place April 21-24 in beautiful Savannah,
Ga. Our team works to design an experience
that allows attendees to easily discover and
share new ideas, explore the latest product
innovations, and learn best practices in delivering senior care communities.
For example, the EFA educational planning
committee (a panel of professionals representing industry sectors such as architects, interior
designers, and owners/providers) is charged
each year with reviewing all the conference session proposals and choosing those that make
the cut. We also work to deliver high-quality
and effective sales and marketing opportunities
through our exhibit hall and networking events.
If we achieve these goals, we know that you
can achieve yours.
Providing you these opportunities is paramount to us, but so is delivering these offerings
in the best environment possible. That's why
we're thrilled to be hosting our 2018 event at the
Savannah International Trade and Convention
Center located on Hutchinson Island on the
banks of the Savannah River. During our time in
Savannah, the center will host us and only us-

that the other individuals you see are also senior
living design colleagues. Take advantage of the
intimate setting to meet someone new.
As an added bonus, our networking reception
on Monday, April 23, will be held at the SCAD
Museum of Art, part of the Savannah College of Art
and Design.
Whether you stay at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, located next to the convention center, or you choose to take advantage
of complimentary service by the Savannah Belles
Water Ferry to stay at one of the great properties
in the historic district, you won't be disappointed.
Savannah is filled with cobblestoned squares
and parks, such as Forsyth Park, shaded by oak
trees covered with Spanish moss, horse-drawn
carriages, and antebellum architecture.
I encourage you to take time to enjoy the picturesque setting as yet another way to recharge
and reflect. There are so many ways to enjoy
Savannah after a productive day at the show.
