Meet Your New Executive Committee
Jennifer Murov - Vice-President
Hello, I am your new Vice-President/
President-Elect and I'm thrilled to be
serving you with this wonderful Board!
I have worked at Morrison & Foerster
for the last 17 years and my most recent role there is as the Administrative
Operations Manager but I've worn
many hats! I have been a member of
the ALA since October 2010 and during that time, I have been honored to
work with talented people in a variety
of roles: the Bridge: co-chair of the
Ops & Tech section and on the 2016
Knowledge to Leadership committee. I
have learned so much in each of these roles and met great people but still felt I was a little on the periphery. After taking a year
off of participating on the Board I decided to jump into the deep
end of the pool and stop being on the periphery and accepted
the nomination of Vice President. I look forward to working with a talented team to continue to bring the Chapter top notch
education. I hope I can also get a few more of our members interested in pursuing CLM certification.
When I'm not working I am usually riding my bike, playing tennis, or watching Giants games. I also volunteer for a number
of organizations. I have a wonderful husband and two teenage daughters so that means I get more grey hair every day! I
am sure the 2017/2018 year will be full of challenges
and rewards but as Ralph Waldo Emerson said so
aptly: "What lies behind us and what lies before us
are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
I look forward to serving you!
