Meet Your New Executive Committee
Crystal Evers - Treasurer
I learned a lot through my experience as Vice-Treasurer last year
and look forward to serving as
Treasurer. The ALA has been a
great source of information and
inspiration to assist with my work.
I am the Accounting Manager for
Dannis Woliver Kelley, one of the
largest women-owned law firms in
the nation. I am thankful to have
found a niche where I have thrived
for the last 23 years.
The ALA has been key in my education about law firm administration and finance. I am grateful
every day for the generous support and sharing that is the true
value of Golden Gate Chapter members.
In my leisure, I spend my time golfing, dancing, and gardening.
Michael Koehne - Vice Treasurer
Michael has been a member of the ALA and the Golden Gate Chapter for the last 8 years in his
current Legal Administrator incarnation. He has been a Legal Administrator/Business Manager
since the 1980's at a number of different firms in the bay area. He has served on the Chapter
board for the last 7 years. He was a member back in the Jurassic period, i.e., the late 80's, serving on the board at that time in a number of capacities, including Small Firm Chair. In the modern era, during this last board term he was the Finance Section co-chair, and has previously
served as Awards chair and Quarterly Event co-chair. During the 90's Michael practiced as a
solo business consultant serving law firms (natch!), other professional practices and a smattering of small businesses. With the turn of the century he took a flyer and became a licensed Registered Investment Advisor/securities broker and hung out his shingle as a Financial Planner.
However, he returned to the fold, apparently where he belongs, to serve as the Administrator of
Goodin, MacBride Squeri & Day LLP, where he continues to this day. He and his wife, Judy
(married for many moons) have two grown sons, Alex and Julian, who seem to bicker constantly, about, well, almost anything (as indeed they have since they were youngins). But, Michael and Judy like to spend time
with them anyway. Additionally, Michael is a known "hacker"(according to his golf buddies) at various golf venues in the bay
area and Tahoe. (So sad!)
