Innovation + Technology = Solutions corporateprofile A AE Systems, Inc., located in the heart of Silicon Valley, offers complete turnkey communications solutions and manufactures satellite communications equipment. With over 25 years of experience, the company has a world-renowned reputation for developing intelligent satellite-based communications technologies. As an industry leader, AAE understands the importance of providing innovative and cost-effective voice, video and data solutions that meet and exceed the operational needs of its customers in ICT and other sectors. Integrated Solutions and Comprehensive Services Integrated communications solutions are essential tools enabling government to better serve its constituents. Built around IP broadband technology, AAE solutions are easily expanded and seamlessly integrated with a variety of wireless and terrestrial networking technologies for voice, video, and data communications. Comprehensive turnkey deployment encompassing system analysis, design, integration, installation, commissioning, services, and lifecycle support is provided. Customization A well-crafted networking solution requires customized equipment designed with specific communication functions in mind. AAE offers a full range of customizable equipment for broadband VSAT, broadcast, military, and agency communication. AAE designs and fields shelterized self-contained communications platforms, shipboard terminals, auto acquisition and flyaway terminals, major communications hubs, combination satellite and GSM based communications systems, telephony trunking systems and many other specialized systems supporting much more than the following: • Inter-agency communications • Aid relief and rehabilitation • Military command and control communications • Public telephony systems. Multiple Networking Topologies Further customization occurs through the incorporation of Eclipse MF-TDMA DAMA products, which support multiple network topologies and advanced communications applications. Supported network topologies include True Mesh, Star, or DVB-hybrid, and application integration includes VoIP, digital video, IP-PBX, VHF/UHF radio, GSM, WiFi/WiMax, surveillance, and other wireless and terrestrial technologies. Data Center Infrastructure To protect data and increase organizational efficiency, AAE offers data center solutions for government. A full range of services including site selection, facility and infrastructure design, engineering, project management, construction, commissioning, monitoring and control, and operations and maintenance are available. Telecommunications collocation facilities providing space, power, cooling, and remote hands for the management of data and hardware assets are also available. Emergency Communications Solutions A variety of solutions for effective and efficient rapid response are available. Rapid Response Vehicles Rapid Response Vehicles (RRV) are field proven solutions for humanitarian and disaster response organizations. Each vehicle is an autonomous comprehensive communications suite in a fully integrated mobile package. Access to all subsystems occurs via a satellite link. Integrated subsystems include WiFi phones, IP-PBX, IP-based video surveillance camera systems, IP video conferencing, messaging subsystem, and data and voice connectivity. Mission specific communication systems include a GSM microcell, VHF/UHF land mobile radio, HF radio, and a UHF/VHF ground-toair air-to-ground radio system. WiMax on Wheels In addition to the RRV, AAE also designs and engineers a trailerized communications platform, WiMax on Wheels (WoW). The trailer contains the same communications equipment included in the RRV with the addition of a telescopic mast. The mast is used to mount the WiMax base station and other radio antennas for greater coverage. Ideal for emergency response, the trailer attaches to a vehicle for transport, yet maintains independence while in operation. AAE Systems, Inc. 642 N.
