ERM Annual Review 2008 - (Page 20) Compliance Assurance Syncrude Canada Ltd Implementation of an EHS Management Information System (EMIS) to give Syncrude Canada Ltd a mechanism for proactive EHS management. ERM began working with Syncrude Canada Ltd in 2004 to develop an EHS management system audit program and conduct facility audits. In 2007 this work expanded to a series of new projects to improve the integrity and implementation of their EHS management system. This included the development of information management tools, user training and facilitating hazard identification and verification workshops. These new programs build on a foundation for continuous improvement and form a critical part of Syncrude Canada’s compliance assurance process.
