Impact Assessment & Planning Repsol Exploration Algeria S.A. Protecting archaeological areas of significance and meeting local regulations in Algeria. ERM completed a comprehensive EIA for four exploratory concessions and an integrated oil & gas project in Algeria. The assessment identified some key archaeological issues and found Neolithic and Paleolithic remains. This prompted several modifications to the drilling plans to meet the local legal requirements as well as maintain the archaeological integrity of the site. The Algerian environmental authorities granted Repsol Exploration Algeria S.A. permits in a matter of months, avoiding potentially costly delays.
