Technology Transfer program Funded under the Office of National Drug Control Policy, Counterdrug Technology Assessment Center, this program provides state-of-the-art counter-drug technologies to state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies at no cost to the agencies. Agencies selected to receive technology through the program must first complete training on the equipment, which is coordinated and paid for by the program. TTP was not appropriated funding in FY 2008, meaning no applications were processed and no equipment was distributed. Hopefully, it gets funded next year. Bulletproof Vest partnership program Launched in 1999, the BVP has supported the purchase of more than 450,000 bullet-proof vests for state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies. The program funds up to 50 percent of the cost to purchase or replace vests. Vest models must comply with Office of Justice Programs, National Institute of Justice, requirements. n Designed for Native American Investors Who Seek Capital Appreciation Utilizing a disciplined, time-tested approach known as value investing, Sycuan Capital Management, Inc. presents this Value Fund that uncovers companies whose shares are trading at a discount to their intrinsic value.
