The New Ski Season is Here

Ski season 2012 was a challenge for many ski resorts. The massive amounts of snow we saw in 2011 passed us by last year. Let’s hope the theory of the weather skipping a season will account for record snowfalls and incredible snow days ahead! Each new season brings a chance to escape to a wonderful winter wonderland. Our clubs and councils travel to many destinations. Whether we go internationally, or travel to our favorite domestic or Canadian resorts, we have fun wherever we go! Some of those FUN areas that our clubs and councils will be heading to for the 2013 ski season will include Red Mountain, Whitewater Resort, Whistler, Snowbasin and Powder Mountain, Big Sky and Taos and many, many more. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the many opportunities that FWSA provides our members to cash in on, be sure to check our website www.fwsa.org - and check out the plethora of member benefits. We have many wonderful lodging partners who offer up discounted rates, including Aston Lakeland Resort, Cal Neva, in South Lake Tahoe; Wildernest Vacation Rentals, in Silverthorne, Colorado; Granlibakken Resort and Conference Center in Tahoe City, and Sunriver Resort in Bend, Oregon.
