The Taj Mahal, created from ivory colored marble is located in Agra, India. This beautiful
mausoleum was originally commissioned in 1632 by the emperor, Shah Jahan to house the
tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It took more than 20 years to construct, using
over 20,000 craftsmen. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.

Their ski area includes 424 ski patrollers and

Cars, people, rickshaws, tuk-tuks, pedicabs, mopeds,
motorcycles, cows and camels pulling carts,
all go along the same narrow roads.
Adventure travel can provide a journey
beyond the familiar, one that takes you into the
very heart of a destination and meet people
where they work and live. It can peak your curiosity. It can encourage you to breathe deeply,
absorb new sensations, make new connections
with your fellow travel mates and new friends
you meet along the way. You can savor the
world through new experiences and enjoy
making memories for a lifetime. We will whisk
you from your normal everyday activities to
the Magical Journey of India. If you've
dreamed of being immersed in enchanting Indian culture...we can make your dreams come
true.
India is spiritual and colorful, noisy and
serene, mystical and majestic‚ and mesmerizing
at every turn. It is a very special and fascinating country where the cultural diversity and
rich history dates to prehistoric times. India
has had many rulers including the Portuguese
who ruled for over 450 years. And, the British
ruled for over 250. There are 33 UNESCO
monuments in India which makes it very intriguing.
Geographically, India has 28 states and
five of them have more Himalayan Mountains
than Nepal. We will travel The Golden Triangle
- Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. We will visit old and
new Delhi which has a population over 32 million. And, yes there are cars, people, rickshaws,
tuk-tuks, pedicabs, mopeds, motorcycles, cows

and camels pulling carts all go along the same
narrow roads. A sight to be seen, not just
imagined.
The Ganges River flows from west to
east beginning from the glacier to create the
largest delta in the world. India has a large
technological community, yet fifty percent of
the people work in agriculture. The satellite
city of Gurgaon has 150 of the top Fortune
500 companies. Many are outsourcing business from English speaking countries such as
the UK and US.
India is a very spiritual country where
Hinduism is a way of life rather than just a
religion. There are many holy and spiritual
cities in India including the Varanasi cities
which are at the gates of the Holy Ganges
River. The people believe that every living
thing has a "Soul" and should be treated as
such.
We will travel to Jaipur - referred to as
The Pink City due to its pink architecture...
well, actually terra cotta. Here they also consider animals to be precious. The elephant
represents wealth, health, prosperity and
good luck, therefore they treat them like gods.
The monkeys are also sacred and considered
to be good luck. Cows are sacred animals because they are very practical animals - milk,
hides, dung, but NOT for meat. No beef
burgers at their McDonalds!
