The disabled vet is a recovering drug and alcohol addict who was a resident of Juda House for five months. He now lives in a one-bedroom house complete with a basement and small yard. “My house is exactly what I wanted and I could not be happier. The staff at Juda House provided me with resources and told me ever ything that I needed to do in order to live on my own,” said Burton. “Through my experiences at Juda House, I am learning to appreciate life more than I did before. I’m happy to get out and contribute something to the world.” 14
