Clever names like Mallard, Pintail, and Wood Duck for the ophthalmic subcollections help to highlight the DU theme. All seven ophthalmic frames are made of either pure titanium or handmade acetate. Each frame has spring hinges and features a laser-engraved DU logo on the temple tip covers. The frames come with the recognizable DU logo of a duck’s head and the words DUCKS UNLIMITED etched onto the left lens. Style Nos. DU-1, DU-II, and DU-III make up the Mallard line. This wellrounded collection contains two titanium frames—a semi-rimless and a full-rimmed—and a full-rimmed acetate style, respectively. Style No. DU-I is a narrow rectangular shape, while Style No. DU-II is a rounded rectangle with a bit deeper vertical dimension. Style No. DU-III is a traditional muffin-rectangle shape. The Pintail Collection has two sleek modified rectangles—Style Nos. DU-IV, a full-rimmed acetate and DU-V, a semi-rimless in pure titanium. Style No. DU-IV is a conservatively shallow rectangle with extended endpieces in both tortoise and blue/gray. Style No. DU-V has an attractive down-swept endpiece with color choices of gunmetal or brown. Style No. DU-VI in the Wood Duck Collection is a chunky semirimless acetate that is available in either black/tortoise or brown. Style No. DU-VII is a rectangular shape in a pure titanium frame. Suns for Wildlife Viewing With style names such as Sequoia, Timberline, and Scout, it’s not much of a stretch to imagine being near a wetland teeming with wildlife. All three styles have premium CR-39™ polarized lenses available in either brown or dark gray. The frames are made of either stainless steel or handmade acetate. Sequoia is an attractive large modified navigator shape with a metal front and acetate temples; it comes in either brown or black. Timberline is a modified aviator in metal with a double-bar bridge. With colors of either antique gold or gunmetal, men will quickly pick this style out of the gaggle. Scout is a traditionally styled acetate in tortoise or black.
