Coastal Law Viewbook - (Page 34) Come Open Door Campus tours begin most every Friday at 10:30 a.m. Call us ahead of time at 904-680-7710 to let us know you are coming. STUDENT SELECTION We are highly selective in choosing our students. Admission considerations include undergraduate grades and majors, graduate degrees, LSAT scores and writing samples, and letters of recommendation. Median scores are 152 LSAT and 3.25 GPA. We also evaluate other criteria that are not as easy to measure, such as life experience, accomplishments, and factors that may enhance the educational experience of the entire student body. No application deadline exists, however you are encouraged to submit and complete your application as early as possible. About 500-600 enroll each year with the option of January or August admission. If you are accepted for admission into one entering class, but do not enroll in that class, you must reapply to be considered subsequently and you must meet any new standards applicable at the time. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE Scholarships are available and are awarded based on merit and/or need. Assistance with both federal and private financial aid is provided through our office of Financial Aid, which offers step-by-step instruction on how to apply and receive federal funds, and provides referrals for private loans. An estimate of all of the costs of attending Florida Coastal School of Law, including tuition, fees, room and board, books, transportation, and personal expenses can be found on the website at www.fcsl.edu/financial/budgetinformation.cfm.
