BricK’s Another WicHita staple for years, bRick's is home to both men and women’s clothing. If your husband loves tommy baHama, you can pick up a present for him while looking at the buRbeRRy and tRina tuRk collections. bRick’s has been around since 1917—so they know what they are doing when it comes to fashion. nakedcity Von Maur www.vonmaur.com Von mauR isn’t a little out-of-the-way boutique and does cater to the masses, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a better collection of handbags and totes—or better customer service—in town. You can find great pieces if you look hard enough and often enough. I found a Michael Kors suit once at a daV, aRmani pants at a little west side shop that is now out of business and my only (much-beloved) pair of manolos at the JunioR league sHop. I think for all of the above I spent less than $50. Resale shops are worth the look. GaraGe saLes, fLea MarKets and street Vendors We don’t have the explosion of street vendors selling knock-offs handbags that a major city like neW yoRk has, but if you want the look without the price try local sales at homes, flea markets and keep an eye out for the occasional street vendor. A word of caution, however, knock-offs may give you the look of high fashion but it will just be a temporary thrill.
