letter from the chair Dear Fellow Alumni and Friends, From celebrating our 100th anniversary to providing our largest ever career conference to connecting with record numbers of alumni to setting new milestones in our 61st Roll Call, the fiscal year was a success for your Alumni Association. We are most grateful to you and the dedicated staff of the Alumni Association who have made this possible. Much of the success of Georgia Tech has come from the loyal support of alumni over the years as well as today. Moving forward, the Alumni Association will work more closely with our current students to provide mentoring from alumni about the real challenges of career and life that go beyond the academic excellence of the classrooms. Our students have indicated that this broader contact with mentors will enhance their education, and these sessions will provide fulfilling opportunities for our alumni to give back to the Institute. Your continued advocacy of Georgia Tech, your efforts to recruit the best students, your decision to hire Tech alumni at your companies, your generous support of the Roll Call and more do indeed make a difference in building Tech’s lofty reputation.
