Cover Photo: Gary Meek 54 Bicycling Beyond the Divide Daryl Farmer, a Brittain fellow and writing teacher in the Ivan Allen College, won a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Award for his autobiographical tale of the transformation of a 20year-old college dropout who embarks on a 5,000-mile bicycle journey into an out-ofshape 40-year-old who attempts to retrace his route. 62 Journalism 2.0 Traditional media is fast becoming as obsolete as 35-millimeter film, VHS and pay phones.
