The car doors opened for business two years ago — when Bolian was a Tech sophomore. “Class scheduling permitted me to have four-day weekends most of my time at Tech and that allowed me to run the business while still maintaining a full course load and graduating on time in eight semesters,” Bolian says. For $6,000, a member of the over-25 set with a clean driving record can rent Bolian’s Lamborghini Gallardo for a week; $3,990 will get you the Ferrari 360 Spider for a three-day weekend. For one weekend day of driving to impress behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Murcielago, expect to shell out $1,960. Hit I-85 for a half-day ride in Bolian’s Ferrari 612 Scaglietti for $1,200. One-day rentals Monday through Thursday of the Bentley Continental GT that Bolian expects to add to his fleet this summer will be $1,400. “The business is growing at the rate that I expected,” he says. “We have overcome a lot of challenges but the business has yielded a great return on my investment. My current call volume and Internet traffic is sufficient to prebook most cars for a fairly substantial amount of time prior to purchase to make the investment much safer.” As Supercar Rentals’ business has blossomed, so has Bolian’s romance with an elementary school teacher named Megan Pucket.
