Sarah Franke Walker, Mgt 97, and her husband, Todd Walker, Mgt 98, announce the birth of a daughter, Rachel Marie, on Feb. 28. Rachel joins sister Francesca, 6, at the family’s home in Athens, Ga. Sarah is a third-year doctor of pharmacy candidate at the University of Georgia. Todd works in sales for The Hackett Group. Steve Weisz, ID 97, CEO and founder of In Ticketing, has been named a special adviser on renewable energy to the International Renewable Energy Organization, in association with the United Nations Social and Economic Council. An official green business, In Ticketing has adopted such practices as using soy ink with hemp/flax ticket stock, tree-free envelopes, bio-diesel and hybrid event vehicles. The first ticketing agency to develop tree-planting initiatives, it has planted hundreds of thousands of trees since its inception. Marc Westmoreland, ME 97, and Christina Sampanes, IntAML 00, were married May 3. Westmoreland is a banker at Natixis Real Estate Capital. Sampanes is a position trader at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. The couple live in Atlanta. Don Wilson, EE 95, has become a partner in Brightworth, an independent fee-only wealth management firm.
