Better yet, you’ll be learning from your peers! Join fellow chapter leaders and executives for opportunities to network. THURSDAY, FEB. 5 Chapter Executives Session and Networking Lunch 11 am – 3 pm The session will kick off with a discussion regarding superintendent and employer relations and how chapter leaders and executives can help build those relationships. Following the networking lunch, a panel of chapter executives will share their ideas and insights on how to effectively manage an association and serve members. The session will conclude with a share-fair — an opportunity for attendees to share successes or challenges facing their chapters. Did you know? Coordination of Mardi Gras While city governments issue parade permits, there is no overall authority that coordinates the five dozen parades held in the metro area during the 12 days that precede Fat Tuesday. Each parading organization is completely autonomous. FRIDAY, FEB. 6 Chapter Editors Session 9 – 11 am Learn new ideas and techniques from your peers on how to enhance your chapter’s printed and/or electronic publications. Bring a copy of your chapter’s publication and get ready for plenty of opportunities to share what makes your chapter’s publication a valuable and effective communication tool.
