The 19th Hole provides that opportunity. Relax with a cool beverage and enjoy hot and cold appetizers before you venture off to dinner on your own. You will also be able to get a heads-up on the day’s scores and the final round pairings. Sunday and Monday’s events will feature fun door prizes that you won’t want to miss! GCSAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND GOLF CLASSIC Same Event, Now with Even More Fun This isn’t the golf tournament of years past! New this year, we’ve added even more fun – contests, prizes, a revamped tee prize package and even a hole-in-one contest. The lineup of events includes: • Practice Rounds • Welcoming Reception – a Southern-style, down-home cookout with door prizes and plenty of opportunity to win great prizes • National Championship – a three-day, 54-hole, stroke-play event • Four-Ball Mixer – a one-day event, capped off with a new skills contest • Golf Classic – a two-day, 36-hole event based on the point quota scoring system • 19th Hole receptions after play on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday – and door prizes galore The 19th Hole will be open as follows: • Sunday and Monday 4 – 6 pm Hosted and cash bar Hot and cold appetizers • Tuesday 3 – 5 pm Cash bar only Family members planning to accompany you can purchase a $100 social ticket, which will allow them to enjoy all of these events with you. When was the last time you were able to spend time at a venue that offers just that? Well, the time is now. The Perdido Beach Resort 27200 Perdido Beach Boulevard Orange Beach, AL 36561 www.perdidobeachresort.com Who Can Participate If you’re a GCSAA member in good standing in one of the following classifications, you can join the event: • Class A, Class A-retired and Class AA-Life members • Superintendent and retired Superintendent members • Class C and Class C-retired members • Affiliate members • Student members The reigning GCSAA champion, along with champions from the last five years, will receive an annual invitation to participate in the renowned Trans-Mississippi Golf Championship, where PGA TOUR professionals such as Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw, Dean Beman and Bob Tway, among others, have carried home the championship trophy.
