5 EPIC EVENTS
THE DCEU COULD ADAPT NEXT

WITH THE RECENT ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THE FLASH solo film will tackle the "Flashpoint" storyline, let's take a look at a few other big DC moments that
might make their way onto the big screen.

Sinestro Corps War

Night of Owls

"The Sinestro Corps War" really brought the
Green Lantern Corps into the mainstream.
This story arc could introduce us not only
to all four of the Green Lanterns assigned
to Earth but to their greatest villain as well:
Sinestro, a former Green Lantern himself.
During the Sinestro Corps War, he assembles
his army of Yellow Lanterns and wages
war on the universe
using rings powered
by fear instead of
the willpower of the
GLC. This leads up to
the "Blackest Night"
storyline, which
would encompass all
of the DC Universe,
much the way Infinity
War is doing with
Marvel Studios.

Batman has no shortage of great villains
who have been around for decades, but some
new foes have managed to make a major
impact as well. The Court of Owls is a secret
society introduced in the New 52, operating
in Gotham for centuries undetected. "Night of
Owls" is the perfect storyline to tie together
the Gotham heroes of the DCEU as the Court
attempts to seize
control of Gotham
once and for all.
Batman, along with
Robin, Batgirl and
Nightwing must
stop the Court
as it carries out
coordinated attacks
across the city using
its silent assassins:
the Talons.

Tower of Babel

This Justice League storyline detailed
Ra's al Ghul's takedown of the League
team members individually, utilizing
their weaknesses via stolen files from the
Batcomputer, which our favorite caped
crusader created as a contingency plan
should anyone in the League need to be
dealt with. The existence of the files leads
the team to distrust the Bat and again shows
us why Ra's is one of
the greatest villains in
the DC universe. This
story was previously
adapted into the
animated feature
Justice League: Doom,
but would benefit
from a more fleshedout, live-action
version.

Forever Evil

A more recent storyline from the New 52
universe, "Forever Evil" offers an exciting
group of villains to face-off against the
Justice League - themselves. Actually,
they're evil, alternate-reality versions of the
Justice League - Ultraman, Superwoman,
Owlman, Johnny Quick, Power Ring, Grid, Sea
King - known as the Crime Syndicate. An
invasion on the DCEU by the inverted heroes
this cinematic world is just beginning to trust
offers vast potential and could help launch a
new wave of heroes to take the reins of the
DCEU after a few years of Justice League films.

ISSUE 02

Crisis on Infinite Earths

Crisis on Infinite Earths is the ultimate end-game for the DC Universe, akin to Marvel Studios'
Avengers: Infinity War but infinitely bigger. The DC multiverse was made up of infinite alternate
Earths that feature different
variations of our favorite
heroes, including the abovementioned Crime Syndicate
from Earth 3, for example.
Crisis introduced the AntiMonitor, who tried to erase
the known multiverse to
increase his own power.
The DC multiverses band
together to take on the
reality-destroying threat
in spectacular superhero
fashion. Plus, much like
the upcoming Flashpoint
film, Crisis offers a potential
reset button for the DCEU if
needed.
