all tell that we are working on
something special.
Geek: As a Star Wars nerd, was
it difficult not to geek out on set
every day?
JG: On my first day, I was wearing this Darth Vader sweater
that I'd had for years. I was the
only one wearing anything Star
Wars-related, and I was really
mad about it. So, when you're
the lead of something, you are
afforded the opportunity to sort
of throw your weight around.
It's so embarrassing, but the
only thing I threw my weight
around about was I put my foot
down and said, "It's not okay
that I'm the only person wearing Star Wars-affiliated clothing. I expect everyone to wear
every piece of clothing they
have, every day we're shooting
this thing." So from that day
on, people would show up and
would show me their socks or
show me a pin. Come on, this
is your chance to geek out and
live every moment to its fullest.
We get to make a Star Wars
story. Enjoy it!
Geek: You've worked in plenty
of other mediums, but seem
especially passionate about
games.
JG: I love this industry. I'm flabbergasted by the brains that

surround you every minute
of your experience within it.
Game developers are some
of the smartest people I
have ever met in my life. I'm
obsessed with game developers. I'm obsessed with the
amount of work and thought

go into creating a game.

Geek: Are you feeling the

games, but also playing such
a big part in the next canon

JG: There is a lot of responsibility. I think that this isn't
just sort of like some B.S.
