GREETINGS, GEEKS! A few decades ago that phrase might have come off as an insult,
but in 1977 a weird little movie about a farm boy in outer space somehow turned
everything upside down, and now just about anyone on the street can diagram
the family tree of Luke Skywalker, tell you what a TIE fighter is and argue with you
whether prequels are a good or bad idea. Our blockbuster movies are about galactic
space armadas and superheroes, our TV shows are crawling with zombies, and we're
perfectly fine with that. The geeks have
truly inherited the Earth, so it's only right
that they get their own magazine.
Inside this issue, you'll find in-depth
reporting on the new Spider-Man:
Homecoming and War for the Planet of
the Apes movies; the Charlize Theron
thriller Atomic Blonde; and Luc Besson's
space opera, Valerian and the City of a
Thousand Planets. We'll also update
you on the new Marvel TV show,

UHD 4K content. If it's geeky, you'll find it within these pages, and you'll also find it at
Walmart, because right now geek is good.
