to be near our children and grandchildren. Even though the hills, winding roads and the deﬁnite four-season environment here in North Georgia has taken some getting used to, one utility agency (above all others) has made our adjustment exceptionally pleasant. That utility is Cobb Electric Membership Corp. (EMC). Speciﬁcally, we have needed some trimming of trees in the utility right of way. Twice, crews from Cobb EMC have come at our request and gone about the necessary pruning and even light growth removal. Their service has been efﬁcient, cheerful and most stunningly complete. I am 69 years old now, and Dr. Denmark was my pediatrician when I was born in Atlanta. In approximately 1944, she told my parents they would never raise me if they did not move to a drier climate, so we headed out to Glendale, Ariz. My father was with the U.S. Postal Service and was able to get a transfer to the Phoenix branch. As you can see, I did live. I just thought that Dr. Denmark would like to know a little of my story.
