However, “add to your knowledge self control” is not an “old proverb” as was stated. It is a Bible verse: II Peter 1:6. I, in no way, want this to be seen as harassment, but rather an encouragement to use God’s words where he has already spoken and not give credit to an “old proverb,” because until that happens, underage drinking, poor parenting and further demoralization and collapse of this great country and state will continue. Mason is inspirational I wanted to express my thanks to the magazine for running the inspirational story about Ross Mason [see “Resolved, for good,” September 2012, page 26]. It is amazing to me how Mason turned a tragic accident into a positive—how he is helping others with spinal injuries through his nonprofit institute, especially military families.
