Passed by the Georgia legislature, Georgia HB 386 created the Georgia Agriculture Tax Exemption (GATE) program, which replaces the Agricultural Certiﬁcate of Exemption (ST-A1) form, and broadens exemptions to include equipment parts and energy used in production of an agricultural product.
