Turn-of-the-century buildings house everything from bakeries to barber shops, kitchen stores to clothing boutiques. from June 17 to September 23, don’t miss the open-air Downtown Market, with arts & crafts vendors and lots of farm-fresh produce every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to dusk. Also stop by the farmer’s market at 14th Street and Grand Avenue Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., mid-June through the beginning of November. Glenwood Meadows, on Midland Avenue in West Glenwood, features big-box retailers with locally owned specialty stores and restaurants lining Market Street. The Glenwood Springs Mall, on Hwy 6 & 24 in West Glenwood, includes J.C. Penney and Bealls department stores, as well as a number of smaller retailers.
