TECHNOLOGY: ENHANCING YOUR CLINICAL
OUTCOMES WITH DIGITAL DENTISTRY
This seminar highlights how digital technology can enhance your
clinical outcomes. The use of CBCT information is extremely useful
for implant treatment planning. Immediate implants, large bone
grafts and sinus lifts all use CBCT technology for preoperative and
postoperative evaluation. Additional applications such as those
used in periodontal defect diagnosis, orthodontic, endodontic and
oral surgery are also reviewed. The digital workflow is reviewed
utilizing intraoral digital scanners in combination with CBCT data
for guided implant surgery and implant restorations.
