Splendid spud “The Adventures of Mr. Potato Head” exhibit features our much-loved and silly companion leading the way on amazing adventures in outer space, on a jungle safari, on an archaeological dig and under the sea. The exhibit encourages children to welcome new experiences with confidence, curiosity and humor; to think about all they can be and do; and to always respect themselves and others. Mr. Potato Head’s knack for wacky escapades and his familiar personality are especially for ages 3-10. Activities promote language development and reading comprehension; critical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills; beginning math and science concepts; gross- and fine motor development; making healthy choices; understanding interdependence and biodiversity; career exploration; cooperative play, social skills and respect for others— and having fun.
