GRAND Magazine - February 2009 - (Page 15) GRAND FEBRUARY 2009 Hope Everyone is talking about it, hanging on to it, passing it on: It’s the byword of the new millennium that began late last month with a vision of America that reflected each of us, a pool of hope so still that each face shone with wonder. Time has a way of taking the edge off mountain-top moments—there are bills to be paid and meetings to attend—but, thankfully, it also has a way of returning, even if by a different path, to the heights of human potential and joy. We live in a time where we can proudly say we believe in a world house of love and laughter where each person, unique and respected, has hope…and opportunity.
