Help! I want to read the magazine! There are a lot of bells and whistles on your green, e-zine GRAND, and we’ll be using this page as a tutorial to help you get comfortable—and enjoy!—every aspect of this exciting new experience. First, some basics: 1. DownloaD It. Save the issue to your computer (each issue will take about 33MB of disk space). Not only will you be saved having to log back in—but on your own system, the links and pages will be faster to operate and access. Just click Save on the overhead MENU and follow instructions. (Your computer will need Adobe Flash; most systems have this program installed. If your computer doesn’t, you will have to acquire it—free—from Adobe . 2. turn tHe pages of tHe magazIne. There are two ways to do this: • Click the arrows up on the MENU in the center. The number tells you what page you have opened. • Have a virtual “turn the page” experience by clicking on the folded-page image in the lower right corner of the magazine. 3. fIt tHe prInt to your eyes! • Zoom. Click on a page to make it bigger. Click again to make it smaller. Too much or not enough? Click on the word Zoom in the MENU and set it from 50% (slight) to 150% (very zoomy). • Full two-page spread view. The button that controls this choice is on the right side of the MENU and resembles the “maximize” button—a big square—in Microsoft Windows. It’s easy to reverse your decision, so go ahead and try it. • Single-page view. The button that controls this choice is on the left side of the MENU. Some people prefer to read one page at a time. 4. access from anywHere. If you’re elsewhere and want to read an article or share it with a friend, go to grandmagazine.com  and click on that flipping-pages icon in the upper right. Put in your e-mail and your password and you’re in. try all tHe buttons on tHe menu. Especially subscribe. It’s so important, we made it bright orange.
