Grandview United Methodist Church Words of Thanks! Dear Grandview Friends,! Where to begin and how to express worthy thanks to so many wonderful people.?! The celebration was extraordinary! Heartfelt appreciation to all who attended and to the team who coordinated the celebration. Dena Ament, debuted as a marvelous playwright, assisted by Suzanne Horton and Amy Garland. The skit was so creative and hilarious!!! The props and artistic costuming were courtesy of Roxanne Edwards. Who can forget the talented performance of Joe Graeﬀ?! Such good sports: John Edwards; Karen Graeﬀ; Sam Bischel; Suzanne, Skyler, & Riley Horton; Andrea & Allison Hausman; Patty, James, & Anthony Rosce; Gregory Enck; Donna Fulmer; and Esi Gibson all stepped up to share in the skit. Worshipping through music is an amazing go-to place for me. Musicans; Jeremy Graeﬀ, George Swank, and Liz Fulmer did an exceptional job of leading us into God's presence. I didn't want the music to stop! It was so SO lovely and God honoring. The very kind words of Pastor Mike, Pastor Andrea, and Amy & Phil Garland were so appreciated and touching - big sigh! The video, thanks to Emily Shirk, Pastor Andrea and Robert Good, was full of young faces and rich memories - just perfect. And then there was the abundantly full bag of wonderful notes from all of you - kindhearted words of grace and aﬃrmation. Another big sigh!! ! The party on the lawn was pure joy and sweetness!!! Thanks to master dippers: Tim & Brenda Kauﬀman, Ginny Dalton and Tim Horton. Hope no one missed out on the cupcakes, unbelievably yummy!!!!! ! So the beautiful bench has arrived and is just waiting for you to take a sit or check it out at the Fishing Derby on Sunday, June 1. Please do come and be a part of the fun!!!! The generous monetary gift will enable us to plan a trip as well as contribute to the Imagine No Malaria ministry. ! ! We are happiest when our farm is full of people doing life. Just show up: canoe or ﬁsh on the pond, ride the go-cart, gather the eggs, make a s'more, or hoe our garden (just kidding). Really we do love having you visit! ! June 2014 team of volunteers who work together in a multitude of ways to help make gentle a bruised world. Can't wait to embrace all that this new season holds.! With love and gratitude,! Thanks to all the bakers and helpers who contributed to the recent Cornwall Manor Society Blooms & More for 2014. Blooms & More is the replacement of the annual Fall Festival and proved to be a big hit lots of new activities this year, a 5K Run, Kids Run, and many of the favorite regular stands. . It was a beautiful day, with many yummy baked goodies, plus we had a lot of customers - a necessity. ! Our table raised $742.39, which was fantastic. The proceeds were down slightly from last year, but we were happy we could help the cause. Proceeds of Blooms & More will be used by the Society to support their many caring ministries at Cornwall Manor. Thanks again for your participation.! Bob & Sue Radocy ! Thank you Grandview & Lancaster! The 16th Annual Race Against Racism is the largest & longest continuously running race in the world. The race & 7th Annual Humanity Fest are run entirely by YWCA staﬀ & volunteers. Lancaster City Alliance says the best thing about the race is the last runner to ﬁnish will help ﬁght racism as much as the last.! Cheryl Gahring, Lancaster YWCA ! !
