Easter Egg Hunt
Grandview Grounds Cleanup
Join in the Grandview Community Easter Egg
Hunt on Saturday, April 15 at 10am. The hunt will
be held at the Lancaster Church of the Brethren,
1601 Sunset Avenue. Join us for a telling of the
Easter story followed by an Easter egg hunt, crafts
and a snack. Bring your baskets for the egg hunt! A
goodie bag will also be given to each child. RSVP
by emailing Jamie Nace, email@example.com.
Join the trustees on Saturday, April 8 for the
Grandview cleanup, beginning around 8am. Help
us to prepare our grounds for the spring and
summer, making it especially beautiful for Easter.
We work throughout the morning, take a group
photo and leave with the feeling of a job well
done. Sign up at the Hub if you want to help.
Bring your gloves and small garden tools if you
have them and prepare to celebrate the beauty of
God in nature.
During the first 2 weeks of April there will be 300400 eggs to be stuffed. Contact Kirstin ShromRhoads if you would like to take 40 or more eggs
to stuff and return by Friday, April 14. Troop 102
will be helping the Easter Bunny to hide eggs in the
early morning. Would anyone else like to
volunteer to help with leading crafts or games?
Feel free to email either Jamie or
Kirstin@grandviewumc.org. If there is interest, our
young families can get together after the hunt for
egg salad and other light lunch options. Sign up at
the Hub for this fun morning.
