Film and Discussion on Gender
Embrace and Grace UCC are hosting a film and

This fall, we'll hear a lot of hymns and anthems
with texts by members of the Wesley family
(Methodism's founders) and also some by Martin

hymns by Catholic writers, as well, as we seek
healing and wholeness in the Body of Christ.
We'll kick off our reflections on reformations on
September 3 with a message based on Isaiah 51:16, titled "The Rock and the Quarry." This
Communion Sunday includes an offering for
Native American ministries. The United
Methodist Church, and Native Americans within
it, have recently been instrumental in brokering
the return of remains of children buried the
notorious Carlisle Indian School.
