Indeed, Punch’s reputation is no pie in the sky. Baked in a wood-burning brick oven, the pizzas offer an authentic taste of Naples, Italy, with artisan ingredients like mozzarella di bufala, goat cheese, prosciutto, basil, saracene olives, roasted eggplant and Mt. Vesuvio tomatoes. Last year, the owners opened a fourth location in Northeast Minneapolis, unveiling two paintings by Neapolitan artist Lello Esposito together with the restaurant. “Similar to Northeast, Punch is about art, authenticity and culture,” says co-owner John Puckett. “We feel that the restaurant fits nicely into the family and community.” 210 E.
